Students are captivated by an animated read-aloud of one of Khrisma’s books. Throughout the story, she pauses to ask thought-provoking questions, invite predictions, and encourage text-to-self connections.

Author Q&A

Students have the opportunity to ask their burning questions about the story, the writing process, and the life of an author. This dialogue fosters curiosity, models effective questioning, and deepens comprehension skills.

Group Storytelling Activity

Together, Khrisma and the students co-create an original story. The activity varies based on grade level and the school’s preferences, ensuring it meets developmental needs and classroom goals.
