Meet Khrisma Antoinette

Community Driven Visionary & Storyteller

Khrisma grew up walking down rows of shelves filled with books at her local library, where she found more books about animals and vehicles than about African Americans. Now Khrisma has become a part of the solution by becoming an author. Khrisma Antoinette writes relationship-focused children's books for youth in nontraditional family structures that jumpstart difficult conversations surrounding the intense emotions and experiences they encounter daily. Through her stories, Khrisma is on the journey of providing windows and mirrors to the diverse world around us.

Khrisma Antoinette is passionate about increasing literacy rates in minority communities and providing community-based programming that amounts to a multigenerational impact throughout black and brown communities.
